Life is busy. Schedules are tight. I understand you have so many responsibilities to fulfill. When we see people around us they are following the same trend. No one has time to bother about anyone else. Urban lifestyle and western culture has affected us so much that nowadays we hardly have any bit of characteristic that is said Indians have. Now we just see our people only. People standing on the other side of road are also worth noticing and may be they need help but we are too busy to notice them.
Competition is everywhere. Bus stop to UPSC exams everyone is fighting. We see so many people in the places we pass through. We, sometimes feel irritated and abused with unease. Everyone wants to reach first, everyone wants to get first, everyone wants biggest share, everyone wants promotion, everyone wants money, everyone wants its child to be an IAS, everyone wants IIT, everyone wants luxury, everyone is running to make their dream come true and moreover they want to live happy life and to be praised. These things are strange 'a happy running man?' I don't think if anyone can feel happiness while running for happiness. People are strange they try to do so.
Our world: Are we in some strange place where people no more care? This world has also changed with time but nobody needed this change. Nobody wanted a world where only he was happy. People are fighting, they don't realize it's not worth but what they are doing is just the way they are supposed to do in life (at least they think so). Survival has been our prime motive and don't know how but this survival has always been the matter of getting ahead. Everyone wants to leave others behind without even knowing where it's going. This is true we do that; but we are much matured than our race has ever been. Technology and new trends and new thoughts in new generation may work as boom to our society but we need to make use of it. We should not push innovations back.
On the other hand: I've seen people living in rich societies and parties. If they are anyhow connected with people down to earth they know how important everyone's growth is. Some people still exist who don't want selfishly growth but they help others in growing. Their education and etiquettes are factors that affect and modulate their thoughts and concepts. Respecting other's life, taking everyone with you and following your heart is taught to us. Our values are what we have. Our education makes us full of values. We come to know the power of satisfaction and relief gained by helping others and taking people with us towards a better future. To the people who sometimes need help since being in that position and growing simultaneously was too difficult. To the people who are crowd for most of us. It's our moral duty to help them.
But people have become so mean and selfish that they started ignoring the fact that 'this is not just crowd. This is us.'
