Because of the CSR HCL founder Shiv Nadar has announced for the investment in the education institution over the next five years. He has committed for 3,000 crore which is going to uplift the level of education and its standard. Nadar has admitted that such a big investment that he is doing will be done for the benefit of both the new as well as the existing initiatives of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. This foundation of the Shiv Nadar was established in 1994 and has invested 18,000 crore up till now and aiming for the future investment because of that Nadar has committed for such a huge investment.
According to Nadar our initiatives are mainly aiming for excellent education system that is required for the upliftment as well as development of the country. He also said that his initiatives are mainly aiming at transformational education. According to the Nadar such investment in those initiatives is going to create group of global leaders who will be creating a remarkable impact on the global level for country's development. This foundation is basically pointing out the existing as well as new institutions the changes as well as adaption of new system of education that will create quality based and learning based education which is required for dig out the brains that will stand on the global platform.
Shiv Nadar foundation is active since last 20 years and prospering with time. In the journey of last 20 years it has benefited and impacted 15,000 students and also it has created 2000 first generations learners which is great work.
Once we all came across about the statements of the richest persons (Warren Buffet and Microsoft creator Bill Gates) who made an attempt to make Indian billionaires for handing out some wealth for the charity purpose during their India tour. Today we can see that such effort is taking the shape of reality. Such attempt influenced the Wipro chairman and founder Azim Premji and he got ready for signing up the "Giving Pledge" and this was the moment which made the first Indian who gave shape to the dream of those entrepreneurs. And now we are seeing the impact of those initiatives through the activities of Shiv Nadar Foundation.
This foundation's initiatives includes (SSN institutions) which are basically engineering and business school, Shiv Nadar University, Iran Nadar Museum of arts, etc. According to a report it is found that Shiv Nadar University alone consumes a huge amount of Rupees 3000 crore. This foundation is running a chain of school called Vidya Gyan which is basically meant for the rural children.
