The elementary education of India is not that inspiring which worries the government as well as the educationists. This factor leads to the enactment of a new protocol in India to universalize education for raising the profile of education in India. It is a shame for a nation that used to use education in as a social and economic reform and internal development through the great reformers is now struggling for establishing the conceptual clearance of knowledge of students than just to score marks. This situation amplifies when there are limited resources in the educational infrastructure throughout the country. The government is solely responsible for this act.
When an individual's basic education is neglected, then he or she lacks certain skill to adjust in the future world. For an instance, the children who have studied in the English medium schools face much less struggle in the higher studies because the language they are familiar with in the entire childhood is similar to the language of the higher studies. On the contrary, a Hindi medium student or a local language medium student faces many difficulties in their higher education for the de-synchronization of their language with English. If the country is guided with a single language, then it becomes very easy for a country to develop itself. Today USA is the most developed country in the whole world because they have accepted a single language that is English in their country. It is not that you should avoid your mother tongue, but one should also keep knowledge about the language with which he or she has to face the world. For the long run, the skill that today's high class industries need may be very difficult to gain without proper basic education. According to a famous professor, he said that we are living in such a democratic country in which we will not get anything until we demand from it. So pressure has to be increased on the Government to take some serious action on this agenda. Funds should be raised and should be properly spent by the government on particular areas where education is very poor. Not all parts of India are poor in education system. Especially the neglected rural areas should be given importance to the maximum.
According to the father of our nation, education was such a tool that has immense potential to change the caste driven society of India and to change the consciousness of a human being and to eradicate the dogmatism completely. Illiterate people reside in throughout the India with the exception of South India, which is highly literate in comparison to the northern part of India. There is a great increase of privatization of sectors within a recent a few years which leads to the discouragement of the education of the poor people. This privatization encourages only the classy people who have significant amount of money to get educated in goo universities. This system hinders the development of India. So India needs an educational reform without which the quality of human being will go low gradually.
