With the advancement in technology, we think teachers are no more responsible for teaching students as technology is playing the same role now. But the truth is that the role of a teacher can't be replaced by any technology in the world. Student still requires a teacher to solve his/her queries. No matter how much we emphasize on advancement of the technology, terms like assessment, management & teaching are always attached with a teacher.
There is a huge change in our education system since last 10years. New technology has been introduced. Teaching styles are also changed. E-learning has also introduced 7 replaced books, but teacher is still at the same prior level. We still seek for a teacher when we deal with any query related to subject. We rarely go for online help.
Here are few challenges which every educator or our modern teachers are facing when it comes to teaching, lets discuss:
1. Performance evaluation: Our teachers still have to evaluate the performance of the students which also evaluates the teaching skills. After evaluation, teachers have to prepare the performance report showing up their detailed report of how they have performed.
2. Classroom management: It is more required that a teacher should interact more with students so that students should avoid hesitating from asking their queries from them. They should avoid bringing negativity in the classroom by thinking before they speak. Along with this, they should help students being updated with the technology as well. Ask students to join any student teacher discussion board or Blogging website or any other smart media, where you can have a discussion over the queries, which is beneficial to others also.
3. Teach to respect everyone's thoughts: Teachers should respect the values of the student. Along with this he should tell them the reason & ways to solve the problem.
4. Change in Scenario: Earlier teaching was just up to teaching students through books to pass the main exams. Now the purpose has changed. Now, it includes technology, academic standards, creating graduates, flipped classrooms, self directed learning & creating future of the nation. It helps students in getting what they want at that moment.
5. Facing technical issues with the educational websites login. As it is important to be a part of chat forums, so it's necessary to cope up with the present technology
6. Few students sometimes question the integrity of the teacher for disturbing the privacy of their lives, though it's not teacher's fault.
7. Teaching through apps available for teaching.
These kinds of challenges teachers are facing these day & teachers can't help it as the scenario is changing, so the demand of introducing new ways of teaching has also increased.
