Engineering is a term which is now the most common word that comes out from one or other parents when a baby boy or a baby girl is born. In fact, a person can find a lot of engineers roaming on the streets now days than people of any other profession. In India, getting an engineering degree for a person is not difficult now days. With a lot of institutions being established and with a lot of companies recruiting potential engineers, it has somewhat become a dream of almost each and every child to become an engineer and grab a good job and make a good life.
Talking about engineering education in India, in the olden day's there were very few engineering institutes and many people had to labor day and night to grab the chance to enter into a nice institute. In those days, most probably the number of companies were more than the number of engineers that were getting graduated every year so there was more chance of getting a job however in today's India, the number of engineers that are being graduated every year cannot be counted and though the educational institutions make promises of providing them job one cannot guarantee about the word of these institutions.
With the recent trends that are going on in India, the Engineering education has become very poor and only some top and renowned institutes that are old ones provide some quality education to the students. People are now establishing their own institutes and making the people lure into some attractive things like some additional streams or branches and then make money. Today, engineering institutions have become a place where one can only get various attractive facilities rather than some quality education that is required by the students. Engineers that are produced from these institutes have very less knowledge about their studies and more knowledge about other things. With these knowledge, one fails to get a nice job in any company or in any industries which ruins his or her life and they then end up doing the work of their parents and handling their family business.
Engineering colleges are now there in almost every city of the state. In fact one can find more than one engineering colleges in the city. With the increase in the demand of engineering education these colleges have made some nice effort in providing such education however the process of teaching and supplying the knowledge to the students have degraded in the recent years. Moreover, the teachers or the faculties that are recruited here have not been thoroughly recruited and as a result the students' fails to get the substantial knowledge that they need to get from the teachers or the lecturers.
Engineering is a very fine educational qualification and it is advised to the various colleges to provide it as profoundly as possible so that the future engineers help the country reach some newer heights and the development of the country take place at a fast pace.
