Sharda University is organising its 1st Civil Engineering Technical Fest i.e "COSTRUTTO13 - ICI FEST NORTH REGION" on 15th & 16th November 2013 at university campus.The two day fest will witness huge participation of students from various reputed institutions from North India. Eminent dignitaries from Civil Engineering background will grace the occasion. Sharda University has overseas students that would be showcasing their talent along with Indian students.

There will be 4 technical talks by the delegates, 6 events and 1 workshop.

Oral Presentation: Giving opportunity to participants from the institutions across North India to express their views regarding the theme.
Theme for Presentation: Substitute to cement, bricks or sand

Poster Presentation: Giving opportunity to participants from the institutions across North India to present their creativity and knowledge via posters.

Theme for Poster Presentation: Environmental Aspects in Civil Engineering

Tender Bid Development: Tender problem will be given to the participants at the time of competition. Participants need to prepare a tender that has lowest bid.

Structural Photography: Participants are encouraged to create photos that create an intrigue about an aspect of engineering and reveal a unique or striking engineering observation.

Structural Design Competition: In this the participants will have to design structure on the basis of data provided using STADD PRO software.

Auto CAD Competition : In this the participants will have to design the plan on the basis of data provided using Auto CAD software.

Workshop : Theme - Health Monitoring of concrete structures.
