"Abhyuday"
is the social festival of IIT Bombay, a first of its kind in India. Here, we
have one of India’s top 40 NGOs, 10,000 students and enthusiastic socially
conscious individuals coming over during the two days of the festival,
experiencing the developmental activities being carried out in the world,
putting their heads together in building a better future.
This year, we are
collaborating with "Jagriti Yatra" to flag off their yearly train
journey across the nation , thus promoting the connection of youth to their
roots.
Abhyuday the social body of IIT Bombay is
India’s largest movement of youth towards social change.
It aims to empower students taking the
mission of social leadership and impact to colleges across the nation to drive
social change.
Formed with a vision to promote social
consciousness among the youth, Abhyuday provides a platform for such ideas to
flourish and initiatives to take shape building the nation bottom up, one-step
at a time.
