Freak-O-nomics.a platform to experience parliamentary aura,to showcase your oratorical dexterity through brainracking debates.
1st round:

The participant teams would be divided into two groups (each group containing half the number of teams). A parliamentary issue would be given to them and the participants have to debate on that topic for 1 hr. (one group would be speaking 'for' and the other group in against')
2nd round:

Shortlisted teams from the first round would now debate amongst each other. In short, there will be debate conducted between two teams, (two teams per topic). The time limit of each debate would be 15 minutes.
3rd round:

2 teams would be shortlisted from the second round and the third round would be an oration round. Each participant i.e. the four participants of two teams will be given a particular economic issue on which they have to speak for 5 minutes. The participants would be given marks on the basis of their oration and then the marks of the two participants of the team would be summed up. The team which scores more wins and gets a cash prize.

NOTE:

The participants would be having a prior idea of the debates and oration topics. (Few topics would be posted online 5 days prior the event and the participants can get any of these topics)

Rules:

The participants should come in a TEAM OF TWO

Use of Internet during the event through mobiles or any other means is strictly prohibited.

The participants should maintain a code of conduct while debating.

The two members of the team shouldn't necessarily be from the same institute.

Participants must adhere to the time limit and speak.
