Each December, Risley Residential College for the Creative & Performing Arts has traditionally organized an open reading of Handel's Messiah in its Great Hall.
This year, Messiah will be on Sunday December 8th at 2:00 pm.
The orchestra and soloists are comprised of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Ithaca community members, and the show is always amazing! People come from far and wide, and you can participate in its production, be a part of the chorus, or simply watch. People of all backgrounds are welcome.
If you are still interested in playing in the orchestra, please contact Mario Carrillo at [email protected] to see if there are spots left for your instrument. If you wish to sing in the chorus, just show up!
Rehearsal will be on Friday December 6th from 7:30pm until 9:30pm and Saturday December 7th from 5:00pm until 8pm. Try and make it if you are able.
