Alumni Career Event: Making PR Work for your Small Business | Alumni Meet in , Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India

The Alumni Career Event series is back. This year we’re offering even more sessions to support you with your career development and to provide you with opportunities to network with other graduates of the University.

Whether you’re looking for work, working for yourself, or just interested in developing your skills there will be a session for you.

This session will be led by Kathleen Dixon Donnelly, Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at Birmingham City University, and Nicola Jones a graduate from our Chartered Institute of Public Relations diploma course who has worked in PR for eight years.

During this session our speakers will cover the basics of public relations and provide guidance on writing press releases. The session will include advice on finding the right contacts in the media and building relationships.

Booking Information All Alumni Career Events are free for graduates, current and former staff, and final year students of Birmingham City University to attend and include refreshments. Please ensure that you book in advance as places are limited.
