techXetra (hindi: टेककà¥à¤·à¥‡à¤¤à¥à¤°) is the annual technical fest of Tezpur University, India. Celebrated in autumn every year, it brings together students, educationists and industry-folk in events such as robotics, exhibitions. technicals talks, demonstrations and competitions.
We the students of Tezpur Central University,ASSAM would like to introduce you with our technical cum cultural fest called "TECHXETRA".Techxetra is the annual, national-level technical festival of Tezpur Central University.Directly translating as “the terrain of new technological trends, ideas and innovation”, it celebrates the spirit of innovation with profound enthusiasm and is one of the largest technical festivals of the north-eastern region. Showcasing an array of events ranging from robotics, competitive coding, technical workshops, gaming, innovative construction, a lecture series delivered by imminent personalities, along with an enrapturing cultural night, Techxetra attracts a multitude of people and personalities. Being the largest techno-cultural event of any university in the north-east, Techxetra enjoys extensive media coverage by leading newspapers, magazines and news channels from in and around the region.
The last five editions of Techxetra have seen an exponential rise both in terms of quality and magnitude. The sixth edition promises to be bigger, better and even more enthralling
Techxetra builds itself around a theme every year. This edition (the sixth) harbors the theme “Water: Wherewithal with Wisdom”, in collaboration with the theme of the United Nations. We are very proud to announce that Techxetra 2013 is the only technical event in the entire north-east to be listed in the UN’s official list of events to be organized in the International Year of Water Co-operation (the UN's list).
Techxetra 2013 is going to be held from the 25th of October to 27th of October 2013.
