The acronym TED translates into ‘Technology, Entertainment and Design’. It is a “Nonpartisan non-profit event devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks.” Tracing back its origins to 1984, TED today covers a plethora of topics ranging from social activism to exemplary advances in technology, striving to propagate ideas that are capable of culminating positive changes into all aspects of the society. TEDxKIITUniversity is aimed to provide a first-hand TED experience to its attendees. It offers a platform to integrate new people into the TED community which helps them to bridge the gap between ideas and actions. This year we are focusing on ideas which may seem small but have managed to bring about remarkable transformations in the community. TEDxKIITUniversity intends to extend its platform to individuals who have been working relentlessly to induce the 'biggest small change'.
TEDxKIITUniversity 2017 will witness people from the political fraternity, world of academia, world of business who would take the stage and share IDEAS WORTH SPREADING.
