The result of Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (main) examination 2013 (RAS) was declared and 2,027 candidates were found eligible for further rounds including personality and viva voce test.
The result was declared by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the exam held between 9th to 12th April, this year.
Cautious measures were taken for conduction of the examination this year since the paper held in the year 2013 was leaked and hence had to be re-conducted this year.
Out of 24,274 candidates that had appeared in RAS 2013 main exam, only 2,027 candidates were declared eligible, about 8.4 percent of the total number.
A source informed that the examination was crucial, since it was set on a new pattern.
The Commission held back results of about 40 candidates due to administrative reasons.
The result of ex-serviceman was also cleared by the commission which would be subject to final decision by the Supreme Court, while some of the affairs will be looked after by the Rajasthan High Court.
The former chairman Habib Khan Goran had to resign after he was found guilty under charges of corruption and it was found that the paper in 2013 was leaked.
