An official notification has been released by Air India Limited, Mumbai, inviting eligible and interested candidates for the recruitment drive to the posts of various customer agents.
The eligible candidates have been called for attending walk-in interview on July 1 and July 2.
A total of 135 vacant posts have to be filled through the drive being conducted. There are 35 vacancies for the post of customer agents and 100 for handymen.
All candidates interested in applying for the post of customer agent have to possess a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university/ institute and must possess basic computer knowledge.
The applicant should also have one year of experience in any of the following areas or a combination of :
"· Computerised passenger check-in or
"· Cargo handling within any airline or Ground handling agency.
All the candidates applying for the post of Handyman, should have successfully passed class 12 from a recognised university with one year of work experience in any of the areas or combinations such as
"· Terminal Functions,
"· Ramp Functions like Baggage/ Cargo/Loading/Unloading and
"· Aircraft Cabin Cleaning area with any airline or Ground Handling Agency.

All the applicants should not have exceeded the maximum age limit of 30 years as on July 1, 2016.
The selection of applicants will be done on the grounds of an interview only.
Each application form would cost Rs 500 for the applicants.

The interview date for the post of Customer Agent is July 1, between 9 am to 12 pm. The interview for the post of Handyman will be conducted on July 2.
