Aircel, one of India's leading telecom players, as part of their corporate social responsibility program today organized the "Kids For Tigers" fest in Bangalore. Aircel "Kids For Tigers" festival is an environmentally inclined education project, with an underlining theme of Aircel's "Save Our Tigers"campaign, and reaches out to the emerging generation of the country. This unique and highly engaging festival held in Bangalore, encouraged children to go through "edutainment" workshops that included documentary films on tigers, inspirational talks, nature trails, and tiger information kits. The festival included exciting activities such as writing postcards to important functionaries in the government, stall decorations, skits, music competition, face painting, wealth from waste, pick and speak and much more .
In the last 2 years, the Aircel "Kids for Tiger " programme has reached out to over one million young children in about 400 schools across India; creating young ambassadors who feel passionately for the tiger. Kids were seen having a great time at the fest!
