Application forms for the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam can do so by visiting the official web site of the CBSE NET exam.
The last date to apply for the UGC NET is September 11 and the exam will be conducted by the CBSE on November 5.
For candidates belonging to general category the exam fee is INR 1000, for OBC the fee is INR 500 and for the reserved category it is INR 250.
CBSE UGC NET will be conducted by the CBSE at 91 centers spread across the nation. The exam will be conducted for 84 different subjects.
Steps to apply for the UGC NET 2017:
- Visit the official website for the UGC NET at cbsenet.nic.in
- Click on the link provided for the online application form
- Fill in the details in the form provided in the prescribed manner
- Submit the application and take the print out of the same for future reference.
Total 11,16,526 candidates appeared for the UGC NET exam in July 2016 and January 2017.
