Anglo Schools International Services (ASIS) - a new federation of British Boarding Schools, is organizing a “Meet the Principal” Lecture Tour in eight major cities within the country from January 20th – February 5th, 2014. The tour is to educate people about ASIS and the UK education system, highlighting how a new approach to schooling is needed if young Indians are to prosper on the world stage.
The theme for the lecture tour is ‘Creating Schools of Warm-Heartedness – the 21st Century Vision for Education’. Mr. David Boddy, ASIS Principal, is one of the UK’s leading speakers on educational futures. He will argue that with 7 out of 10 future jobs for today’s youngsters not yet invented, a new vision for educating tomorrow’s leaders is going to be needed. This involves developing social and emotional intelligence skills, not just academic ones.
This will be the first time that there is one such platform where parents and students can directly address the Foreign Educationist and have their questions clarified. Mr. David will explain to parents how changes in the international job market are forcing changes to the educational curriculum, teaching methodologies and approaches to university applications.
The Tour starts with his first Lecture in New Delhi on January 20th, 2013 at The Park, Parliament Street, New Delhi.

Entrance exams for the schools start in India in February at Pearson Vue test centres and registrations are now being taken via the ASIS website www.angloschools.co.uk

I hope to explain this and offer, through ASIS, an unrivalled opportunity for children from India to take advantage of these changes.
He further added, “It is a huge commitment to send your child to school in England and I want to reassure parents that the ASIS Federation of Schools stand out for their pastoral care, as well as their academic excellence”.

ASIS stands for Anglo Schools International Services Ltd. It is pioneering a new way to recruit international students for British Boarding Schools and Universities, beginning in India. Twelve of Britain’s leading boarding schools have formed a Federation, managed by ASIS, to provide scholarships, other financial assistance and general help for pupils to take up their studies in the UK. A similar federation of Universities will be launched in 2014.
