Bennett University, Noida has started with the admissions and registration of the applicants for the second merit list. The procedure will continue till July 10 and the second merit list with the names of qualified candidates will be displayed on July 12.
Bennett University is a private university located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India. The Bennett University will offer undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Management, Media, Liberal Arts, Law, Design and Public Policy. The university's inaugural batch is 2016-17 and the commencement of B.Tech programmes and one PG programme in management. The four-year full-time engineering programmes comprise of computer science, mechanical, and electronics & communication disciplines which come to a total of 300 seats.

A first merit list of the candidates is going to be displayed anytime soon. Merit of the eligible candidates will be considered according to the marks they obtained in JEE mains 2016 for the candidates applying for B.Tech course. The university, however, offers an advantage of 10% marks scored in JEE (Main) for SC/ST candidates and those belonging to Jammu & Kashmir from that of the score obtained by the candidate shortlisted in the general category.
For admission to the MBA programme, applicants need to have qualified in CAT/XAT or equivalent examination and those who also have good work experience. The final list will be displayed and the selected candidates will be called for a personal interview. In an announcement by The Times Group students of the inaugural batch are guaranteed employment, subject to satisfactory performance of graduating student with a minimum pay package of Rs. 7 lakh per annum.
