After the recent scam that has fouled the image of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). The committee has planned and approved proposals that could bring back the reputation of the education board.
The committee has planned and approved the proposal to set up model examination center and regional centers at all nine divisional commissionaires of the state. This step has been taken to streamline the functioning and to keep up the reputation. The offices of these Commissionaires will be used as 'strong room' for keeping answer sheets after the examination. These evaluation centres will have high security and any outsiders will not be allowed in the premises. In yesterday's board meeting, the chairman announced that the Commissionaires will be five storied buildings located at Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Gaya and Darbhanga. It wouldd be four storied building at Saharsa, Purnea, Saran and Munger with each floor having 10,000 square feet of space.
"We will construct multi-purpose buildings in all the nine commissionaires of the state. The examination centers will be equipped with CCTV facility besides the arrangements of webcasting during the examinations. Each exam center can accommodate 4000 to 5000 students. It will be easier to keep a tab during the examination," BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore told a national news daily.
