If there is one thing that the schools kids hate more than the studies, it would be those boring uniforms! Keeping that in mind, the primary education department of the Kolhapur zilla parishad has chosen the colours for the school outfits for the administration run schools in 12 talukas of the locale. The uniform will be made accessible from June 15.
An authority from the office said that chestnut shading for Chandgad taluka, dim for Ajara taluka, pink for Shirol taluka, dim cocoa for Karveer taluka, chocolate shading for Gadhinglaj taluka, and white with checks for Radhanagari taluka have been chosen. Colours for a portion of the talukas are up in the air, included the authority.
More than two lakh students are selected in 2,005 zilla parishad schools over the region. Prior, a number of the schools did not have a set uniform.
Smita Gaud, locale essential instruction officer told TOI, "The school garbs have been picked so they rival the non-public schools and are likewise alluring in the meantime. Gaud included that school administration advisory groups have been approached to buy the obliged fabrics for the outfits.
The training office authority said that all the students are prone to get the outfits with the expectation of complimentary this year.
"There are more than one lakh recipients secured under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) in the zilla parishad, they will get the uniform free of charge. Students who are not piece of the plan may get the garbs with the expectation of complimentary as a procurement has been made with the state government," included the authority.
"The training office is making each essential move to pull in potential students to the zilla parishad schools and getting shading uniform is a stage towards it," said the authority.
Right now, the office gives free uniform to students under SSA. It doesn't cover the whole class.
The free uniform dispersion plan was propelled in the state to check the dropout rate of the held classification students in the year 1979-80. Focal government began the plan under SSA for the below poverty line (BPL) class students from 2011.
The new uniform of the school have been picked so they rival the tuition based schools and are likewise appealing.
