Mukherjee will be attending the grand convocation ceremony to be held in
Secunderabad at the Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), on December
23. The convocation ceremony of the Army College of Dental
Sciences will be a major function and will attract all the attention when
President Pranab Mukherjee will preside
over it.
During the ceremony, degrees will be conferred on students
who have performed exceedingly well in various specialized subjects of Dental
Surgery. A total of 9 postgraduate students and 38 graduate students of Dental
Surgery will be honored during the ceremony.
In year 2001, the Army Welfare Education Society had
established the Army college at Jai Jawahar Nagar, to provide specialized
training for Army personnel, both, currently serving and retired. Six students
from Telegana were also admitted in the Army college for outstanding
performance in the EAMCET exam. The dental college has been awarded the Grade A
by the prestigious National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)recently.
The dental hospital, attached is highly advanced, with various specialized
treatments such as dental implant treatment, laser assisted surgeries and
endodontic microsurgeries, with a capacity of 170 dental chairs.
The Army dental college offers highly skilled manpower,

nearby areas. Secunderabad city is getting ready for the official visit of
President Pranab Mukherjee to the Hyderabad state and to honour the grand
convocation ceremony to be held in Secunderabad.
