The wait of the students who were seeking admission into Delhi University ended on Wednesday when the website of DU goes fully functional which allowed students to complete the registration process on the website.
CBSE class XII results were declared by the board on May 28, but students were unable to complete the application process as there were some nonfunctional tabs present on the website of DU.
"The admission web portal for the undergraduate (merit based) programs...is working efficiently and all the tabs are active and within two hours of opening all the tabs, more than 3,500 applicants completed their registration...," the university said in a statement.
Merit based registration process for the undergraduate programs began on May 22 but, due to some technical glitches students were only able to enter their 'personal details' as the tab for the 'academic details' was non-functional.
After the website went fully functional, so far, 160,131 candidates have registered on the website out of which 73,824 are male and 56,994 are female.
