Student's Union President made a statement that, education not only in Bihar but
in India is messed up and needs reformation.
He went to Patna on Wednesday to participate in a
protest march which was organized by the students of Patna Arts College. He
also visited the Beur jail to meet his friend who is also the state secretary
of All India Student's Federation (AISF), Sushil Kumar and six other students
who were locked up in there after a scuffle with members of the student's wing
of the ruling Janata Dal United (JDU). During his visit to the college, he said,
"The education system not only in Bihar but in the whole country was in a
complete mess and that successive governments were responsible for it." He did
not blame the Bihar government over the Class 12 results scam recently and
said, "More reforms are needed in the education system."
All the dignitaries of the state were present to
welcome him in the state which wasn't the similar scene last year when he
visited Bihar. He was welcomed by a fleet of cars which accompanied him as he
met Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. The
JNUSU president was accorded a with a very warm VIP welcome by the state
government.
