Declaration of the decision over extension of dates to admission under the Delhi University undergraduate programmes is still pending.
The dates might find an extension till June 22, but it is uncertain and no official declaration has been made regarding the same.
On June 18, this year, at 6 pm, applications for admission in DU crossed 2 lakhs in number. Total number of registrations noted had been 3,16,632 in number. 2,00,010 candidates have successfully completed their application process. The number of male applicants are 1,00,878. Out of the total applications, 35,422 are OBC.
The reasons behind extension of dates are mainly the OBC candidates, who have been unable to timely produce the required set of documents for the procedure. Other complaints were registered during Wednesday and Thursday, include slow working of the official website for filling the application form.
The candidates complained that due to crashing down or being slow, the procedure online took a while longer than what it usually takes.
