State run schools to provide digital learning
From next year onward the learning in state run schools will go digital from class 1 and for this purpose the education department has announced the intervention of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
"The initiative would be implemented through IT@School Project, a state government initiative to impart IT education in schools, in the academic year starting from June 1, 2017," Education Minister C Raveendranath said.
Kerala is the first state in the country to come up with special education program for the trans-genders which will help in removing the social stigma towards this sexually minority group and will provide them non-discriminatory justice and treatment in the society.
