Once again, Union HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar stressed on the emphasis of improving the quality of education across the entire country in order to build a strong nation and strong future for the citizens.
"After providing access to education for all, now the focus is to ensure quality education to students across the country. The government is working actively on it as it believes that only quality education has the potential of developing a good citizen with a strong character. Quality education is a must for all-round development of the country," he said.
During the same time minister also hinted at formulating the law which will help in regulating the fee structure in private schools in the country.
Talking about the fee structure he mentioned about the Gujarat government which already had formulated such law for the state.
"We will discuss its provisions while formulating a law at the national level," he said.
He further told that all the CBSE affiliated schools have been told not to indulge in any form of commercial activity be it selling school dresses, books or any other thing.
"We want healthy competition between private and public schools for providing quality education to students. Education is not something only between students and teachers. Parents, communities, society and other stakeholders should be involved in the process. This will bring productivity and improvement in education" he added.
