Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Chief Minister, on Thursday told the media that medical college named after Mata Sheetla Devi will soon open in Gurugram.
The college will be constructed under the responsibility of The Municipal Corporation Gurugram, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and the Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Shrine Board.
Khattar was present on the occasion of 'Harit Gurugram-Ek Prayas 2017 Program' when he made the announcement.
While speaking he said, that a suitable place for the proposed college will soon be identified and construction work will begin. 40 percent of the college cost will be borne by the Municipal Corporation and GMDA each; the rest of the cost would be borne by the Shri mata Sheetla Devi Shrine Board.
Khattar also laid the foundation for the six new development projects which will cost around 15 crore and also planted the saplings in Saraswati Kunj in Sector 53 to kick-off the drive by 'Jalvayu Sanrakshan Samiti' whih aims to plan 10 lakh saplings.
He described Gurugram as the industrial economic city of the state and said that the government will leave no stone unturned in order to ensure its development.
