Placement offers at FORE School of Management, the premiere management school of Delhi were the best among the non-IIM category and even beating the top offers at some of the IIMs. "The new Board is keen on expansion of FORE to other locations while we are consolidating our position in the B-School space with the top placements in 2012" said Dr. Jitendra K Das, Director - FORE.
The new executive board announced by FORE consist of Mr. R.C. Sharma (former Director-CBI) who has been unanimously elected as the President and Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar (former CMD-MMTC) the Vice President and Treasurer, Col. (Dr.) S.P. Wahi (former Chairman-ONGC), Dr. G.V.G Krishnamurty (former Election Commissioner of India & Chief Patron-FORE), Dr. Vinayshil Gautam (A Al_Sagar Emeritus Chair Professor-IIT Delhi), Dr. Yasho V. Verma (Chief Operating Officer-LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd.) and Mr. T.C. Venkat Subramanian (former CMD-EXIM Bank of India). Foundation for Organisational Research and Education (FORE) was formed in 1981 when a few top leaders from government and the corporate world got together and decided to create a non-profit institution that would serve as a center of excellence for consultancy, training and development of management practices in New Delhi.
Ever since, FORE has successfully created a niche in the management education and is consistently ranked among the top most B-Schools of the country, including CRISIL with a rating of A***, the highest for educational institute providing post graduate studies. Placement offers at FORE were the best among the non-IIM category. Last year's Rs 39.6 lacs offer to one of the FORE student was even higher than some of the IIMs.
FORE has a robust admission policy, being followed for the past couple of years which ensures that equal opportunity is provided to the potential students to prove their merit and takes pride of selecting students from a rich pool of applications which is highly diverse in terms of academic background, culture and work experience from varied industries.
FORE do not have any provision for bonus points for its female applicants or non-engineers. The female students comprises of almost 37% which reflect a well-balanced ratio compared to many IIMs and other premier B-Schools, whose gender ratio is utterly skewed.
