To mark the culmination of its Silver Jubilee celebrations, Apeejay School, Saket organized a special event "Let the memories begin" on Wednesday at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. This event was the grand finale of a series of events that the school organized during the year. More than 1000 people attended the event.
Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest on the occasion. General V.P.Malik, Former Chief of Army Staff was the Guest of Honor. A small film showcasing the 25 years history of Apeejay School, Saket was also screened.
Dr. Shashi Tharoor quoted, "I am proud to be a part of this event and would like to congratulate the Apeejay Education Society for their commitment to quality education of global standards".
To commemorate the occasion, a postal stamp was released by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Mrs. Sushma Berlia and Mrs. Anita Paul, Principal, Apeejay School, Saket.
Mrs.Sushma Berlia, President, Apeejay Education Society quoted, "I would like to express my gratitude to our students, alumni, teachers and all our supporters who have made this happen.The alumni of the school have made a mark for themselves across the globe, carrying the Apeejay spirit in their hearts and minds, and making a difference in the lives of people and the world around them. This resounding success is the result of the school's commitment to keep pace with the times by providing quality education, infrastructure and facilities at all levels and to inculcate amongst its students the right value system that is symbolic of our rich culture and heritage."
General V.P.Malik felicitated teachers and employees of Apeejay School, Saket who have completed 20 years of continuous service. This was followed by a short play, School Song and a Celebration Song.
Mrs. Anita Paul thanked all students and teachers and added, "Your continued encouragement and assistance will guide us to greater summits of excellence."
