Chennai based Sri Ramachandra University has released the notification which invites applications from interested candidates to pursue full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in various programs offered by the university.
The streams being offered under PhD are:
1.Medicine
2.Dentistry
3.Pharmacy
4.Nursing
5.Allied Health Science
6.Biomedical Science
7.Public Science
The fellowship for the above mentioned courses is available for the Rs 8000/- per month and each carries the discipline carries the contingency amount of Rs 25000- per annum.
Educational Qualification
The interested candidates must have a Master's degree for this or they can have a professional degree which is deemed equivalent to Master's degree from the corresponding statutory regulatory body.
Procedure for selection
On all India basis candidates will be selected purely on merit basis and the marks/grades scored at the post-graduation examination will also be taken into consideration during the selection process.
How to apply
Application form is available on the official website of the University and interested candidates can download the same from there. After this they are required to send the completed form along with the required documents to "The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University, by post/courier with demand draft Rs 1500 in favour of 'Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai - 600 116."
Important dates
Last date for receiving application is August 12th.
Entrance exam will be conducted on August 20th.
