And it is the season of the results yet again. A time when your entire year's preparation is judged on a single day's performance. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board just released its annual results.
Students have yet again proved themselves (in Ahmedabad) by clearing the board exams with flying colors, i.e. (98% cleared semester III of class XII science stream). Around 1.33 lakh students who appeared in the exam, only 2681 failed in A group (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and B group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
On Thursday, results were declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. It was found out that 3542 students scored above 90 % and 11,525 students scored above 80 % marks out of 1.33 lakh students who gave the examination.
There were many students who even scored full marks i.e. 100 out of 100 in different subjects. There were 1,554 students in Chemistry, 1,514 in Physics and 1080 students in Mathematics who scored full marks.
English-medium students who cleared were around 98.88% and Gujarati-medium students who passed were 98.23% confirmed officials. From Ahmedabad city, 9631 students gave the exam and out of this 99.11% passed and 80 students failed. From Ahmedabad rural, 6024 students appeared and those who failed were 41.
Out of districts, Surat topped as 885 students achieved over 90%, then came Rajkot with 593 students, Vadodara with 255 and Ahmedabad with 235 students.
Students who gave exam in A group were 69,532, out of this 1836 got A1 grade and those who got grade A2 were around 6418. In B group 63,727 students appeared, out of this, students getting grade A1- 1704 while 5,100 students got A2 grade.
