Centre for Career Planning & Counseling (CCPC), Kashmir University, today organized a recruitment drive for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir at Kashmir University campus. Bangalore-based Rooman Technologies, which had sent a high-level delegation to the varsity to conduct recruitments, delivered 40 appointment letters to the students selected at the drive.
Vice Chancellor KU, Prof Talat Ahmad, Registrar KU Prof Zafar A Reshi and Prof Shabir A Bhat Director CCPC received the delegation. The Vice Chancellor on the occasion said: "We are exploring all the possibilities to enhance employability of our youth through various initiatives."
Prof Shabir A Bhat, Director Career Planning and Counseling KU advised the youth of the state to upgrade their skill sets and develop specializations in emerging and innovative areas. He said: "The Centre for Career Planning and Counseling is striving hard to bring leading companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro for recruitment drives in Kashmir." The delegates of Rooman Technologies expressed satisfaction with the talent pool available in the state.
Pertinently, over 250 candidates registered for and appeared in the online test and the interview conducted by Rooman Technologies. Rooman Technologies would be hiring more candidates from Jammu and Kashmir in coming months under Project Udaan.
