The examination date of both the UP Entrance Test Examination (UPSEE - 2015) and the National Defence Academy (NDA) is scheduled for April 19.
This has increased the difficulties of the students who have been preparing for both the exams.
The UPSEE entrance test is conducted for securing admission to the various engineering and management programmes in the affiliated colleges of the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). Approximately three lakh students are likely to take the UPSEE - 2015.The entrance exam for the postgraduate programmes is scheduled on April 18 but the entrance exam for the for undergraduate technical courses like B.tech, BArch, BFA is on April 19.
Unfortunately both the UPTU and UPSC have turned down the possibility of a change in their schedules, following which the students who were planning to appear in both the exams will have to drop one of the exams.
The NDA examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
The UPTU had declared the date for the examination two months before hand to avoid the clash between other examinations.
R K Khandal the UPTU vice-chancellor expressing that this happens almost every year said that it's late and nothing can be done.
Dhruv Sharma who had applied to both of the examinations said the coordination between the UPSEE and NDA is poor making the students suffer.
Both the examinations are significant for the students after Class XII.
