'2018 Korean Government Scholarship Program' has been announced by the Government of Republic of Korea. The scholarship is for the undergraduate degrees and last to apply for the same is October 13, 2017.
Under '2018 Korean Government Scholarship Program' a total of 2 scholarships are reserved for the Indian nationals. The academic program will be of duration of 5 years and will include one year of Korean Language Program. The duration of Bachelor degree will be of 4 years.
Applicants interested must be under the age of 25 years as on March 1, 2008.
Applicants must have graduate or is expected to graduate from High School. Those candidates who have already completed their graduation are not eligible to apply. Also, candidates who have graduate or are expected to graduate from a Korean High School are not eligible to apply for the same.
Interested applicants must have either 80% or should have been ranked in the top 20% of their entire high school period.
Detailed notification for the same is available on the official website of MHRD and it is compulsory for the candidates to go through detailed eligibility conditions as mentioned in the notifications.
Interested applicants are expected to send their applications directly to the embassy of Republic of Korea, New Delhi on or before October 13, 2017 till 5 pm at the address

Benefits of scholarship
Benefits under the scholarship include:
- Monthly stipend of 800,000 KRW
- Tuition fee of upto 5 million KRW
- Medical insurance among other grants.
