About 20 million students in Bihar's administration run schools have been influenced because of an uncertain instructors' strike in backing of more than 3.5 lakh contractual educators, authorities said here on Saturday.
The instructors' strike has gravely hit class 1 to 12 students.
The contractual instructors of around 72,000 essential and center schools went on strike a month ago requesting pay at standard with normal educators and better living up to expectations conditions in schools.
A huge number of secondary teachers have additionally gone on strike to backing these contractual instructors.
"After a huge number of secondary teachers started their uncertain strike on Friday in backing of striking contractual teachers, a number of youngsters have been denied of their instruction," a training office authority said.
Striking contractual instructors had as of now prompted bolting of many schools over the state. The greater part of the influenced students has a place with the poorest of the poor segment of society.
"In most recent couple of years, studies pointed that well off individuals sent their kids to tuition based schools and a large portion of the poorest of the poor sent their youngsters to government run schools," the authority said.
