Female students who have performed outstandingly well in final exams will be awarded with the cash prize while the female students who have performed well in class 12 and female toppers of Varistha Upadhyay scheme will also receive a scooty as a reward a reward. This announcement was made by the Rajasthan government. This step is being taken by the Rajasthan government in an attempt to improve the women's education in the state. The scheme will be applicable from the coming academic session of 2017-18.
Which female students are eligible for the rewards?
According to the TOI reports, the female students from class 8, 10 and 12 will be eligible for the rewards which are studying in the schools affiliated with the RBSE.
District topper will require at least 60 percent marks in order to receive the reward.
- Rs 40,000 will be given to class 8 female toppers
- Rs 75,000 will be given to class 10 female toppers
- Rs 1 lakh will be given to class 12 female toppers
School Education Minister Vasudev Devnani said that "all meritorious female students will be presented with certificates during award ceremonies which will be held in each district on Basant Panchami".
The class 10 and 12 board results were announced by the board on May 15 and may 27 respectively.
