Every year thousands of aspirants sit for the ND exam to get a lucrative career in naval Force, Air Force and Army of India. The NDA exam is organized by the UPSC in two levels- written exam and the interview. The exam 1 i.e. written exam was conducted by the UPSC on April 23, 2017 and the results are expected to be out somewhere between 8 to 15 July and will be declared on the official website of the UPSC, which is www.upsc.gov.in. The list containing the roll no of candidates will be available on the website, which have been selected for the round 2.
Exam 1 of the NDA consists of two exams- Math and General Ability. Both the exams are of 2hr 30min duration.
Math includes topics such as Trigonometry, Algebra, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Matrices, Determinants, Integral Calculus, Statistics and Probability and is of 300 marks.
General ability paper includes English and GK and is of 600 marks.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the question paper for exam 1 from the official website of the UPSC and coaching centers which help the candidates in preparing for the exam have released an unofficial answer key. For now candidates can calculate their score on the basis of those answer keys.
Interviews by SSB are conducted in two phases. Phase 1 tests include Officer Intelligence Rating tests and Picture Perception and Description and phase 2 includes Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference.
The registrations for the NDA exam 2 have been concluded and the admit cards will be released one or two weeks before the exam date which is September 10.
