The 10th board exam of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) also known as Madhyamik examinations will commence from February 12, 2019 with first paper of Language. The exams will end in record 10 days with the last exam being one from the Optional Elective Subjects. To prevent any malpractices during the exam, the board has made sufficient arrangements.
WBBSE has also set up a special control room for the exam purposes which started functioning from February 6, 2019, and will remain in effect until February 22, 2019.
According to the PTI, this year, even invigilators are not allowed to bring mobile phone inside the examination hall. They all have been instructed to hand their mobile phones to the venue in-charge.
There will only be one exam each day from 11:45 am to 3:00 pm. The board has kept first fifteen minutes for reading the question paper. The students will be allowed to write answers from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
