About AEEE 2015: The Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) 2015 is conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University annually in various cities across the country for admission to the first year B.Tech. Programs for its three Schools of Engineering- Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. In 2014, AEEE was conducted in more than 75 cities across the country for providing admissions to B.Tech. programmes at its three Schools of Engineering located at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. Approximately 33000 + candidates showed up to take the exam.
• Eligibility
1. Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 1994.
2. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
3. They must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
4. A minimum of 55% is mandatory in the individual subjects of Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
5. Candidates with a minimum of 60% in a three year diploma in engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education are also eligible.
• Paper pattern
Duration of AEEE 2015 Examination is 2 hours 30 minutes.
The AEEE 2015 Question Paper will have 100 questions for 300 marks as follows
1. Mathematics - 40 questions
2. Physics - 30 questions
3. Chemistry - 30 questions
Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks.
Every wrong answer will result in deduction of 1 mark.
• How to apply?
1. A person can apply online, by post, or by sending a demand draft.
2. Online: Candidates can apply online and pay the fees through net banking.
3. By post- From the Admission coordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore, on a written request indicating their full communication address together with a Demand Draft
4. From the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a DD.
5. From the designated branches of Post Office, Dhanalaxmi Bank Ltd. & Federal Bank where applications can be had on cash payment of Rs. 1,000.
6. AEEE 2015 Application Fees: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000
7. Application fee can be paid via: Online or sending a demand draft of Rs.1,000.
