• Overview
AFCAT is common recruitment exam conducted by IAF (Indian Air Force) for all the three branches - Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch. AFCAT is conducted two times in a year in the months of December/January and June/July.
• Eligibility
Education Qualification:
1. Flying Branch: Aspirant must complete three year degree or four year(BE, B.Tech) from any recognized university with 60% marks.
2. Technical Branch: And to apply candidates finished Aeronautical, Mechanical and Electronic engineering with 60% marks from recognized university.
3. Ground Duty Branches: Applicants must clear graduation with 60% or Post graduation with 50% marks in any discipline.
Age Limit:
1. Flying Branch: 19 year to 23 years
2. Technical Branch: 18 years to 28 years
3. Ground Duty branches :20 year to 27 years.
Selection Process:
First aspirants will be short listed based on the performance in the written exams and followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).
• Paper Pattern
The AFCAT Question Paper consists of 100 questions. All questions are of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total duration for the paper is two hours. Questions are from verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude.

2. Step 2: And provide all necessary information such as name, address etc.
3. Step 3: Then pay the examination fee through online or offline mode.
4. Step 4: And finally submit the AFCAT Online application form 2015.
• Schedule
The Indian Air Force is likely to release the notification of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2015 soon at the official website www.careerairforce.nic.in
Applicants those who are eligible and interested can apply for AFCAT entrance exam 2015. And the online registration for AFCAT2015 exam will begin from December 2014. The AFCAT 2015 entrance exam will be conducted two times in a year first exam in February and second exam on August month.
