• OVERVIEW
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted to take admission into undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law offered by National Law University (NLU), Delhi. Candidates who aspire to pursue post graduate level legal courses must have to appear for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). The National Law University, Delhi was established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India.
• ELIGIBILITY
The candidates who have completed their higher secondary examination can apply for this examination. The candidates waiting for their results of the final year are also eligible to attend the AILET examination. A minimum of 50% of marks secured in the higher secondary examination is must for the candidates applying to the AILET entrance test. The non-residents who are applying must secure 65% of minimum marks in the higher secondary examination. The candidates should not exceed the age limit of 21 years of age. For the reserved category candidates, the age limit is 23 years.
1. The need of this AILET entrance is to analyze the potential and knowledge of the candidates to admit them in the courses in the National Law University (NLU), New Delhi.
2. The seats allocated for the candidates belonging to the non-residents of India are 10.
• PAPER PATTERN
Following is the paper pattern for AILET 2015-
• Section A English - 35 questions - 30 marks
• Section B General Knowledge - 35 questions - 30 marks
• Section C Legal Aptitude - 35 questions - 30 marks
• Section D Reasoning - 35 questions - 30 marks
• Section E Mathematics - 10 questions - 10 marks
Duration: - 90 Minutes
Total: - 150 Marks
• HOW TO APPLY?
ONLINE: Students can apply online for AILET 2015 on www.nludelhi.admissionhelp.com or www.nludelhi.ac.in.
OFFLINE: Offline Applications complete in all respects can be submitted in person or by Speed Post, to the REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI, Sector - 14, Dwarka, New Delhi -11007. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for any postal/courier delay.
Interested candidates are also required to apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) for General Candidates, Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of “REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi along with copies of requisite Caste/Person with Disability Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.
