• OVERVIEW
Aligarh Muslim University Law Entrance is commonly known as AMU Law Entrance. AMU Law Entrance Exam is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. AMU Law Entrance Exam is an online exam. AMU Law Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions to the under-graduate law courses. AMU conducts entrance exam for admissions to B.A. LL.B courses in the three study centers of the University, namely AMU Centre Malappuram, AMU Aligarh and AMU Centre Murshidabad. B.A. LL.B is a 5 year under-graduate integrated program.
• ELIGIBILITY
1. Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate or the equivalent examination.
2. The candidate should have secured at least 50% of the total marks as the aggregate of all the subjects in the qualifying examination.
3. Candidates should not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1 of the year of admission.
• PAPER PATTERN
a) AMU Law Entrance Exam shall be a written test comprising of 75 objective and 10 short answer types questions.
b) AMU Law Exam Timing – 10:00 am
c) Number of Questions – AMU Law Exam Question Paper shall have 75 objective questions with four responses as answers. Candidates are required to choose one correct response among the four which suit best to them.
d) Total Marks – Each objective type question shall be of one mark totaling 75 and 10 short answer type questions will fetch 25 marks. Thereby the total marks allotted for AMU Law Entrance Exam is 100.
e) AMU Law Exam Duration – Candidates shall be allotted 120 minutes (2 hours) to take AMU Law Entrance Exam.
f) Structure of AMU Law Exam – Questions will be asked from the following sections:
1. General English
2. Current Affairs/General Knowledge – With emphasis on Legal Issues
3. Reasoning and Aptitude
• HOW TO APPLY
a) Fill in the AMU Law Entrance Exam Online Application Form.

b) After filling in all the required details in the Application Form, you are required to take a print out of the PDF generated of AMU Law Application Form.
c) Afterwards you need to put your thumb impression and signature at the designated place on the Application Form.
d) You need to draw a Demand Draft of Rupees Five Hundred only (Rs. 500/-) in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh payable at Aligarh.
e) AMU Law Application Form must be attached with the appropriate Demand Draft along with the other relevant documents and Application Form and should not be folded or mutilated in any way.
f) Applicants must note that AMU Law Entrance Online Application Form must be submitted in person or through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier at-
