The Assam JAT is a joint Admission Test for the admission to undergraduate courses of engineering, medical, regional dental and ayurvedic courses in the state of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota). The examination is conducted by Director of Technical Education, Assam. The examination notice is notified by the Director of Technical Education in Assam Gazette and through other newspapers.

Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
The eligibility criteria for Assam JAT 2016 is:
• The candidate must be above 17 years of age and must be a resident Assam state.
• The applicants have to clear the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or its equivalent, from any recognized state/national Board.
• The qualifying examination should be passed by the applicants with not less than 50% marks, 45% in case of SC and 40% in case of ST. They must have an aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the first attempt.
• The applicants who are applying for B.Tech courses through Assam JAT, must not be above 21 years of age (three years relaxation for SC/ST candidates) and below 17 years of age.

How to Apply (Accelerate Yourself!!)
The candidates can apply through the official website. The details can be filled through the applicant. The applicants have to upload the required documents and photographs for the final submission. The fee of Rs. 650 has to be paid.
NOTE: The final copy of the application has to be saved for the future reference.
Paper Pattern (Time to show Skills!!)
The examination will consist of 100 MCQ type questions which has to be answered in 3 hours. The subjects to be asked in the examination are given below:
