CMAT is a national level entrance exam for the admission in MBA colleges. This exam was occurring twice a year, mostly in the month of February and September but from 2016 it will occur only once a year. The exam is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CMAT exam score will shortlist the students for the admission in approximately 1500 AICTE approved institutions.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria:
One must have a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration and must have obtained at least 50% of the qualifying examination. For the candidates belonging to reserved category must have at least 45% in the qualifying exam. Final year graduation, students can also apply for CMAT September 2016.
Significant Changes:
The conducting authority AICTE has decided to conduct CMAT in Foreign Countries for facilitating eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to participate in CMAT for taking admission in management institutions in India following CMAT merit list for 2015-16 under special provisions.
How to apply:
Firstly, download and read the brochure carefully from website i.e www.aicte-cmat.in/ Next step is to start as the new user login where you will get the login id and password. Re-login as an existing user and as fill the details. Payment can be submitted both online and through cash by submitting Challan.
Test Duration & Pattern:
The test duration is about 180 minutes and four marks will be allotted for the right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
