Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the exam calendar for 2015 recently and has announced the exam dates for Civil Services (Preliminary)-2015.
Civil Services entrance exam is held for various posts namely, Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, Indian P & T Accounts & Finance Service, Group â€˜Aâ€™, Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Group â€˜Aâ€™, Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) group 'A', etc.
The candidate must be the citizen of India to apply for the Indian Administrative Service & Indian Police Service.
Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age for applying and the maximum age limit to apply for the UPSC Exams is 29 years.
Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956. The candidates with a degree from any of the recognized universities can apply for the UPSC Exams.

The preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects set out in subâ€section (A) of Section II.

Selection Process â€“ All Eligible Candidates will Be Selected Based on Their Performance In Prelims, Main Exam.
Application Fee â€“ For General/OBC Candidates Application Fee is â€“ 100/- & for All Other Candidates (PH/ST/SC) Application Fee is â€“ Nil
