• Overview
Gujarat Common Entrance Test is common entrance exam conducted by the state for admission to various professional undergraduate courses of study. Directed by Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) this exam is conducted for admission to first year professional courses of MBBS, BDS, B.E and B.Pharma in various colleges and universities of the state of Gujarat. Students wishing to seek admission to degree-engineering, pharmacy as well as medical courses after class 12 in science are required to appear for GUJCET.
The curriculum for this exam is based on education's department's syllabus for HSC (Science) Stream (Class 12)
• Eligibility
1. Aspirant who have passed HSC exam (Class 12) of science stream conducted by GHHSE (Gandhinagar) / Central Board of Secondary Education (New Delhi) /Council of Indian Schools
2. Aspirants appearing for qualifying exam (10+2) are also eligible to apply.
3. The minimum aggregate in terms of percentage for general category candidates is 50 percent.
4. The minimum aggregate in terms of percentage for reserved category candidates is 45 percent.
• Paper pattern
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is one multiple choice question paper consisting of the following subjects of
• Physics (40 questions): 40 MARKS
• Chemistry (40 questions): 40 MARKS
• Biology (40 questions): 40 MARKS
The question paper would contain 120 questions and would of three hours duration (180 minutes). Aspirants are required to circle the correct option out of the four given alternative on the OMR sheet.
The question paper of the examination shall be printed in Gujarati, Hindi and English. Therefore it is necessary to mark your preference of medium in the application form.

STEP 01: Purchase GUJECT information booklet
• Interested applicants wishing to apply for GUJCET 2015 are first required to collect GUJCET information booklet.
• The cost of this booklet is Rs 250/- payable through DD favouring “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar.â€
• This information booklet is important as it contains your user ID and password.
STEP 02: Login and fill GUJCET online application form
• Login into http://gujcet.gseb.org and register online
• Submit relevant information that is personal information, educational qualification, and correspondence and communication details.
• Upload passport sized photograph and signature.
• Check through the details you have provided carefully.
• Submit the application form after due verification.
STEP 03: Login to print you application form
• You can login using your application number and date or birth
