The GIC AAO examination is a national level competitive exam for the candidates willing to do jobs in the following General Insurance Corporation of India:
1.National Insurance Company Ltd., Calcutta
2.The New India Assurance Company Ltd., Mumbai
3.The Oriental Fire and General Insurance Company Ltd., New Delhi
4.United India Insurance Company Ltd.
There are total 55 Indian insurance companies along with 52 other general insurance companies were nationalized by the Government of India (GOI). Every year the General Insurance Corporation of India conducts exam for Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) in the month of February.

Pay Scale (Salary Credits!!)
The salary payment for a GIC AAO vacancy, according to notification is 40,245 per month.
Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
- The requirement for the applying candidates is that they should have either graduate or postgraduate degree with minimum 50% marks (Scheduled Castes/Tribes can apply with 40%).
- The candidates must be of 21 to 30 years of age on or before 1st October 2015 (SC/ST/OBC, ex-servicemen and serving confirmed employees of G.I.C are relaxed from age limit).

How to Apply (Accelerate Yourself!!)
The candidates have to apply online through the official website of LIC. The first step is general registration and the second step is filling the application form. The form contains general education and personal details. Next, the candidates have to upload their photograph and submit the fee. The final step is to send the filled application form to above address:

For SC/ST/PWD candidates there is fee of Rs 100 plus transaction charges and for all other categories there is a fee of Rs. 600 plus transaction details.

There will be online exam for 120 minutes which consist of multiple choice questions in the following pattern:

The English section will not be awarded any marks, but it is mandatory to qualify this section. There will be one fourth negative marking and no marks will be deducted for the questions which are not answered.
Number of Vacancies (You just need one seat!!)
This year GIC AAO has total 700 vacancies with 349 for unreserved candidates and 348 for the reserved categories. The rest 3 seats are from last year backlog candidates.
