With all the perks and allowances, the salary of a junior IFS officer comes to around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month.
Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
For Nationality: The candidate should be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who has came to India before 1st January, 1962 with a intention of permanently settling in India. Or
(e)
a person of Indian origin who has either migrated from Pakistan, Burma,
Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic
of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the
intention of permanently settling in India.
For Age Limit:
A candidate should have either attained an age of 21 years and must not
have attained the age of 32 years, i.e. he/she must have either born
not earlier than 2nd August, 1984 and not later than 1st August, 1995.

The candidates have to apply on the website and fill the application form. After that the applicants have to submit the fee.
