The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology takes admission in various engineering programs on the basis of JEE(Advanced) score card. The institute campus is spread over 100 acres of land at Valiamala,which is about 20km from Thiruvananthapuram city. ISAT is deemed University and was formed in 2007 under the Department of Space (DOS). IIST provides a huge number of courses for B.Tech., M.Tech./M.S.,doctoral and post-doctoral programmes in fields like Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Astronomy & Astrophysics, Chemistry, Earth System Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, Physics and Remote Sensing, with specific focus on space science and technology.

Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
- The candidates must pass 10+2 Examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized board / university.
- The eligibility criteria of appearing for JEE main and JEE advanced are mandatory. The General category candidates must score an aggregate of 20% in JEE advanced with at least 5% marks in Physics and chemistry and Mathematics individually .
- The OBC category candidates must score an aggregate mark of 18% with at least 4.5% marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics individually.
- For SC/ST/PWD category candidates the score required is quite less i.e. an aggregate of 10% with at least 2.5% marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics individually is required.

The notification for ISAT 2016 is released and the dates are mentioned below:
Starting date of online application: – 10 June 2016
Last date for receipt of application: – 26 June 2016
Once the result of JEE Advance is out the admission procedure for JEE advance will start.
How to Apply (Accelerate Yourself!!)
ISAT 2016 application can be done by online procedure and candidates should have their JEE Main and JEE Advanced Roll numbers. The application form should be filled carefully with all personal and educational details.
