Eligibility Criteria (Do you have it in you!!)
B.A.(Hons.) 1st Year:
The applicant must have passed the senior school examination (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks. The candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination or equivalent examination can also apply.
M.Phil./PhD
The candidates having a master’s degree in Political Science, History, Economics, Geography, Sociology, Defence/Strategic Studies, International Relations and Area Studies with a minimum 50% marks or a master’s degree in Humanities and other Social Sciences with a minimum 60% marks or a master’s degree in Natural Sciences with a minimum 65% marks.
M.A
• For M.A. in Politics (with specialization in International Studies) as well as M.A. in International Relations and Area Studies the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum 50% marks.
• For candidates applying for M.A. in Economics (with specialization in the World Economy) should have:
o They must have a bachelor’s degree (with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate) in the mentioned subjects:
1. Economics (Honors) with Mathematics as subsidiary subject; or
2. Mathematics (Honors) with Economics as a subsidiary subject; or
3. Statistics (Honors) with Mathematics and Economics as subsidiary subjects.
Or they must have any other Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks, and with Economics and Mathematics as subjects.

How to Apply (Accelerate Yourself!!)
The candidates can apply online the official website. There will be registration link, click on that link. The application form can now be filled after registration. The candidates have to pay the application fee and upload specific documents
Paper Pattern (Time to show Skills!!)
The PhD entrance exam will test the candidate’s awareness on a specific topics in which they have done specialization. The test will have the questions based on analytical and critical appraisal type questions.
BA (Honours): The questions are based on general aptitude MCQ. The entrance test for BA (Honours) for Foreign Languages will have the sections of General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge
MCA: There will be objective type questions consisting of questions in Computer applications and information technology subjects.
M.SC: The candidates will tested on the basis of knowledge of physics, physical, chemistry and mathematics of B. Sc level. There will be MCQ type of questions.
